Ustaz Masruhan Kyai Choteb
He is the Imam Executive of Abdul Aleem Siddique Mosque. He is Indonesian and has extensive teaching experiences in Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore. He holds a Master’s Degree from University Malaya and is currently pursuing his PhD at the same university. He has written more than 30 books in wide-ranging subjects like Fiqh (Islamic Law), Tasawwuf (Islamic Spirituality), Seerah (Life of the Prophet) and so on. Ustaz Masruhan teaches in the Malay language.
Ustaz Ahmad Salim
He is 69 years old and has taught Islam for over 40 years. He is a Pergas-accredited teacher and also a Hajj Mutawwif (guide). Ustaz Ahmad Salim teaches in the Malay language.
Ustaz Mohammed Iqbal Abdullah
He converted to Islam 25 years ago and went on to become one of the most accomplished Muslim convert in Singapore. He studied at the International Islamic University Islamabad (Pakistan) and also at Al-Azhar University in Cairo, Egypt. He has taught Islam for more than 10 years. He studied under many Islamic scholars, among them being the late Sheikh Umar al-Khatib, an erudite Islamic scholar in Singapore. Ustaz Iqbal teaches in the English language.
Ustaz Ismail al-Khatib
He is the grandson of the erudite Islamic scholar, Sheikh Umar al-Khatib. He studied at Madrasah Aljunied during his early years. He then stayed and studied in Saudi Arabia and recently graduated from the prestigious Rubat in Tarim (Yemen), an tertiary institute of higher Islamic learning. His teachers include Habib Salim as-Shatri, Sheikh Salim al-Khatib and Sheikh Sa’ad al-Jithi. Ustaz Ismail teaches in the English language.
